Position: Registered Practical Nurse

Job Summary:
Are you a Registered Practical Nurse looking for a role that offers variety, flexibility, and real impact? Carecor Health Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate RPNs to support individuals with complex medical and care needs in the Greater Toronto Area.
In this role, you will provide hands-on nursing care, including medication administration, health monitoring, clinical documentation, and specialized support for clients with complex healthcare needs. Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, you will promote health, safety, independence, and quality of life while adhering to CNO standards and Carecor's Standards of Practice. This is a casual position offering flexible scheduling based on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver person-centered nursing care and ongoing health monitoring.
- Administer medications and treatments within the RPN scope of practice.
- Provide hands-on care for clients with tracheostomies and ventilators, including airway management and monitoring equipment.
- Support technology-dependent clients with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and report changes in client condition.
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary team members to support quality care.
- Promote the health, safety, dignity, and well-being of clients.
Qualifications:

- Current unrestricted registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR certification.
- Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience in community, residential, or acute care settings preferred.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care, airway management/suctioning, medication administration, and clinical documentation.
- Experience supporting technology-dependent clients with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities.
- Robust clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs and/or developmental disabilities is an asset.
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one).
- Demonstrated commitment to person-centered care, professionalism, and safety standards.
