We are looking for a mechanically inclined Production Trimmer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will assist with trimming and sub-assembly work while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform trimming and sub-assembly tasks according to production requirements.
- Use power tools and other equipment safely and effectively.
- Read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
- Follow production schedules and deadlines to meet daily production goals.
- Work efficiently and effectively on a variety of manufacturing tasks.
- Scan barcodes for jobs as required.
- Complete production and other documentation as required.
- Work independently with little or no supervision.
- Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with team members.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Minimum Grade 12 education.
- Previous trimming experience is an asset.
- Manufacturing or industry experience is an asset.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to work with hand and power tools.




- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable and committed to meeting production requirements.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

- Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), applicable regulations, and company policies and procedures.
- Properly use and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report hazards, unsafe conditions, and workplace concerns to the supervisor immediately.
- Never remove or disable safety devices or protective equipment.
- Follow safe work practices and procedures at all times.
- Attend all required health and safety training, including WHMIS and company orientation.
- Perform all work in a manner that does not endanger yourself or others.

Pay: $21.00 per hour
