Now Hiring: Cook (Full-Time, Monday to Friday)
Location: Olly Fresco's 18 York Street
Hours: Weekdays only, early morning to mid-afternoon

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Cook to join our Cold Kitchen team. This is a full time position for someone who thrives in a rapid-paced environment and takes pride in quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Rational Oven and other commercial kitchen equipment
- Cut, chop, and dice vegetables as part of daily prep work
- Prepare sandwiches, wraps, fruit packs, and salad bowls according to standardized recipes and portioning guidelines.
- Label, date, and package all products accurately for distribution.
- Rotate stations (sandwiches, salads, fruit packs, packaging) for balanced workload.
- Assist in receiving and storing produce, proteins, and packaging materials.
- Clean kitchen thoroughly at the end of each day
- Collaborate with hot kitchen and other departments when items overlap (e.g., rice, proteins).

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a professional kitchen




- Must have knowledge on the use of a Rational Oven.
- Previous catering experience.
- Proficient knife skills and food preparation techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- Punctual, dependable, and physically able to stand for long hours
