SANJAY GUPTA CAMPAIGN MILTON

Canada

**ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY**

Join a grassroots Milton municipal campaign as a Door Canvasser and help shape Ward 3's future. You'll be the face of community-driven leadership, knocking on doors, listening to voters, and building the foundation for a council that actually shows up.

This isn't a typical part-time job—it's a hands-on civics lesson. You'll develop real communication skills, understand how local politics works from the ground up, and contribute to a campaign built on authenticity and genuine neighborhood connection.

**We're specifically seeking residents aged 16-25 who live in Milton.** This campaign is about your community, and we want young Miltonians to lead.

---

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Core Canvassing Work:**

- Knock on assigned doors in your neighborhood (or adjacent Ward 3 areas) between 9 AM–8 PM

- Engage voters in 2–5 minute conversations about local priorities (traffic safety, school overcrowding, small business support, transparent council representation)

- Use a provided script and talking points—but conversations should feel natural, not robotic

- Collect voter contact information and feedback via mobile app or paper form

- Report back on doors knocked, conversations held, and voter sentiment

**Data & Communication:**

- Accurately log voter responses (supporter, undecided, opponent, not home, do-not-contact)

- Submit daily reports via app.justcanvass.ca

- Share feedback on what you're hearing on the ground—this intelligence shapes campaign strategy

**Voter Education:**

- Answer basic questions about Sanjay's platform: traffic safety, school crowding, responsible development, GO Transit advocacy, small business support

- Direct voters to www.sanjayformilton.ca for detailed policy info

- Hand out door hangers and campaign materials (provided)

- Respect voter wishes

**Professionalism & Brand:**

- Represent "Your Neighbour. Your Voice." with integrity—be courteous, listen more than you talk, and respect every voter's perspective, even opponents

- Wear provided campaign t-shirt or clothing with logo

- Keep assigned territory organized and safe

- Flag any safety concerns immediately

---
