We are a busy, modern family medicine practice serving a diverse patient population in Richmond Hill. We are seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team and provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care in both an in-person and virtual setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a PA who enjoys practicing in a collaborative family medicine environment and is looking for a flexible hybrid role with a robust emphasis on continuity of care.

Role and Responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive and focused patient assessments
- Obtaining medical histories and performing physical examinations
- Assessing and managing common acute and chronic medical conditions
- Providing virtual and in-person patient visits
- Ordering, Interpreting & Following-up on patients with appropriate laboratory and diagnostic investigations
- Providing preventive care, health counselling, and patient education
- Managing follow-up visits and reviewing investigation results
- Supporting chronic disease management
- Documenting patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR
- Communicating clinical findings and management plans with the supervising physician when appropriate
- Recognizing situations requiring physician assessment or escalation

Qualifications

- Physician Assistant graduate from an accredited PA program
- Eligible for registration and practice as a Physician Assistant in Ontario
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO), where applicable
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently while recognizing when physician consultation is required
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Comfortable providing care through virtual platforms and electronic medical records
- Previous experience in family medicine & emergency medicine is an asset

Language Requirements:

- English
- Mandarin (as >80% of our patients especially the elderly speak mandarin)

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
