About Nebula Block

Nebula Block builds NebulaOS, a sovereign agent operating system: a 59 MB binary that runs entirely on-premise — air-gapped if needed — and ships eight AI "employees" that work over everything a company knows, with source-cited outputs and zero external data transmission. We are in production with paying enterprise customers across three industries. The team is based in Montréal.

You'll work on NebulaOS, with NebulaOS: our own agents are your toolchain. We care as much about whether you can direct AI to build things that work — and tell the difference when they don't — as about what you can write from scratch.

What you'll own

Demo engineering (your work ships to real customer meetings within days). Our team runs enterprise demos all fall, and every meeting needs a demo environment that deploys in one command, resets in one command, and never improvises. You'll productize it: a reproducible setup; a sample enterprise document corpus (contracts, policies, internal knowledge bases) with pre-built agent orchestrations; a live proof that no data leaves the machine; a demo runbook with failure fallbacks. When an enterprise buyer watches our demo in September, they'll be watching your work.

Developer & user experience. Our SDK shipped this summer (v1.0.x). You'll be its first-contact quality bar: walk through every quickstart as a brand-new user,

find where it breaks, and fix the docs and examples — with AI doing the heavy lifting and you doing the judgment. You're the target user: someone touching this for the first time. That makes your instincts better than ours.

What we're looking for

- CS / software engineering student (co-op term or final year) with solid Python
- Comfortable with Linux, containers/VMs, and basic networking (enough to demonstrate isolation, not design it)
- You build with AI daily — agents, Claude/GPT-class tools, whatever gets it shipped — and you can tell when an AI's output is almost right (and you don't ship "almost")
- Writes transparent English documentation people can actually follow — half this role is writing
- Bonus: French; interest in enterprise or regulated-industry software; any exposure to LLM agent frameworks

Why this internship is different

- Two named deliverables with your fingerprints on them: a demo environment used in live enterprise sales, and public examples and guides shipped to real users
- You'll spend a full term working the way work is about to be done everywhere: one person directing a fleet of AI agents
- Direct report to the CTO, weekly async review — you own your queue

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Montréal, QC (Montréal)
