Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier and Kitchen cook/helper to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support while handling transactions efficiently. Your ability to engage with customers, manage time effectively, and promote products will be essential in creating a positive shopping experience. You must also be willing to work in the kitchen doing prep work and helping in the line when needed.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register.
- Handle cash and credit card payments, ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Upsell and promote products through engaging product demonstrations.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Assist with kitchen prep,



including portioning ingredients and filling sauces. Support order completion and packaging, and help clean and organize the kitchen after busy service periods.
- Must be able to assist the line cook in busy periods.
- Must be comfortable and flexible working both opening and closing shifts, and able to work independently.

Experience

- Previous experience in customer service/retail sales and kitchen is a bonus.
- Solid time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Organizational skills to maintain a tidy workspace and manage inventory effectively.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers.
- Experience with product demos is advantageous, showcasing your ability to engage customers effectively.
