Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Ultrasound (Sonographer) Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, demonstrate excellent technical skills, and have a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures, operate ultrasound equipment, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate interpretation.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and effectively, adjusting settings as needed for optimal image quality.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to interpret images and provide relevant clinical information.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and cleaned according to safety standards.
- Adhere to infection control policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Certification or licensure as an Ultrasound (Sonographer) Technologist from a recognized professional body (CMRITO)
- Proven experience performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to diagnostic imaging and patient care.
- Excellent technical skills with proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment models.
- Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers.
- Attention to detail with robust organizational skills for managing multiple cases efficiently.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety standards.

Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
