Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring high standards of food preparation, safety, and customer service. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily activities of the kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards and consistency.
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of operation.
- Assist in training new staff members in food production, service procedures, and safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation effectively.
- Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus or service offerings aligned with brand standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace that adheres to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supervising within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
- Experience in managing restaurant or kitchen operations is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude towards team management and customer service.
- Previous experience in serving or hospitality roles is advantageous but not essential.
