Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise salon staff, including hairstylists, receptionists, and assistants, fostering a positive team environment focused on excellence.
- Manage daily salon operations, including scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Oversee retail sales efforts by merchandising products effectively and implementing promotional strategies to boost revenue.
- Handle all aspects of payroll processing, budgeting, and financial recordkeeping with accuracy and integrity.
- Conduct recruiting activities such as interviewing candidates, onboarding new team members, and providing ongoing training & development.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing client inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, pricing adjustments,



and sales reporting while managing cash handling procedures responsibly.

Requirements

- Proven supervising experience in retail or service environments with strong leadership skills.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
- Proficiency in payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of merchandising strategies, pricing techniques, sales management, and store management principles.
- Excellent communication skills paired with phone etiquette and organizational skills to coordinate daily operations smoothly.
- Experience with POS systems, cashiering procedures, marketing initiatives, and retail sales techniques.
- Strong math skills for cash handling and financial recordkeeping; familiarity with purchasing processes is a plus.
- Ability to manage time efficiently while multitasking in a quick-paced environment; previous supervisory or managerial experience is preferred.
