Lancaster Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead, maintain and continuously improve our Quality Assurance Program, including compliance with CSA N299.3 and N299.4 requirements.

Reporting to the President, this is a hands-on leadership role that works closely with estimating, project management, purchasing, production and senior management. The Quality Assurance Manager has responsibility for quality-system oversight, corrective actions, documentation, training, supplier quality, inspection planning and ensuring work meets customer, contractual and applicable quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and improve Lancaster Group’s Quality Assurance Program, manuals, procedures and controlled documentation.
- Prepare, review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and related quality documentation.
- Manage nonconformances, NCRs, corrective actions and root-cause investigations.
- Review customer specifications and contractual quality requirements before and during project execution.
- Maintain calibration records and the Master List of Calibrated Equipment.
- Oversee employee quality training, qualifications and required records.
- Qualify and monitor suppliers and maintain the Approved Vendors List.
- Support incoming, in-process and final inspection activities.
- Maintain material identification, traceability and quality records.
- Ensure welding, NDE and other special-process documentation and qualifications are current where applicable.
- Participate in customer, supplier and external audits.




- Lead annual Quality Assurance Program reviews with senior management.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen systems, documentation and day-to-day quality practices.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Lead or similar role within fabrication, manufacturing, nuclear, mechanical or another regulated industrial environment.
- Knowledge of CSA N299.3/N299.4 is strongly preferred.
- Experience with ITPs, NCRs, corrective actions, audits and controlled documentation.
- Familiarity with calibration programs, material traceability, MTRs, Certificates of Compliance and supplier quality.
- Experience with welding, NDE or special processes is an asset.
- Strong organizational, technical-documentation and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfortable making independent quality decisions and working collaboratively with operations and management.
