This position is a split shift.

Duties

- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social skills for school-aged children
- Provide tutoring and academic support to help children with homework and reinforce classroom lessons
- Foster a safe environment by supervising children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their well-being at all times
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support each child's individual needs
- Encourage positive behavior through guidance, conflict resolution, and reinforcement of respectful interactions
- Maintain clean, organized activity areas and ensure all safety protocols are followed diligently




- Support early childhood education principles by creating inclusive activities that cater to diverse learning styles

Qualifications

- Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education practices and child development principles
- Ability to tutor and teach foundational skills in a fun, engaging manner
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with school-aged children
- Relevant certifications or training in childcare or education are a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within a lively environment

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
