We are looking for a very special someone to join our team at our Halifax, Waterfront Location. Nestled between fine dining and the cruise ship ports, this Bishop's Landing location is in the very heart of the waterfront.

This isn't a quick-paced, high-pressure retail position. It's a slower kind of selling built on real conversations, genuine product knowledge and taking our time with each customer.

- Detail oriented, self managed and have the ability to work without supervision?

- A genuine interest or passion in natural skincare, aromatherapy & wellness (Previous experience in beauty, spa, hospitality or customer facing retail is a bit plus)
- Interested and have a passion for aromatherapy, essential oils and how these oils can improve people's lives?
- Professional, warm, and confident with a love of working with people?
- Well developed computer and social media skills?
- Accurate with a good attention to detail?
- Sales or retail experience?
- Able to work alone and remain motivated?
- Able to work 2 Saturdays every month

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Greeting customers and helping them find what they need through recommendation and understanding their needs.
- Learning our small-batch,



botanical ingredients well enough to talk about them like a trusted friend.
- We not only greet & welcome tourists and travelers, but have developed great relationships with our local people as well.
- Cash handling, POS handling
- Provide detailed guidance to clients on all of our products including carefully curated offers from other Canadian businesses
- Keep the retail area clean and beautiful
- Process payments from clients
- Assist in and help develop promotional events & merchandising.

This is a permanent part-time position. We are looking for someone who can commit to a regular part-time schedule.

Your schedule will be:

Peak Season: (June 1 - November 11)

- Thursday (11:00am - 7:00pm)
- Friday (11:00am - 7:00pm)
- Every second Saturday (11:00 - 7:00pm)

Holiday Season: (November 12 - December 24)

- Thursday (11:00am - 6:00pm)
- Friday (11:00am - 6:00pm)
- Every Second Saturday (11:00am - 6:00pm)
- ** Extra Hours available during this time

Shoulder Season: (January - June) 11:00 - 5:00

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Halifax, NS B3J 3Z2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Customer service: 3 years (required)
