Front Desk Team Member (Part-Time)

We’re looking for a part-time Front Desk Team Member who brings both warmth and professionalism to every interaction. This role is equal parts customer experience and sales — you’ll be the first point of contact for our community, helping people feel at ease while confidently guiding them toward the offerings that best support their practice.

You’re someone who stays steady under pressure, takes initiative, and knows how to prioritize in a busy workplace without losing your presence.

At Yoga Santosha, the experience begins the moment someone walks through the door. This role plays a key part in shaping that experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Welcome and support clients in a warm, attentive, and professional way
- Actively guide clients toward memberships, passes, and retail with confidence and care
- Manage front desk systems including MindBody and general data entry
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and support booking needs
- Set up and reset practice spaces (light cleaning included)
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with the team and studio leadership
- Follow established systems and contribute to a smooth, steady studio flow

- Strong customer service skills with a natural ability to connect with people




- Confidence in sales and making thoughtful recommendations
- Calm, grounded presence in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized under pressure
- High attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Administrative or front desk experience preferred
- Experience with MindBody is an asset
- Genuine interest in yoga and building community
- Flexibility to occasionally cover shifts at both Kensington and Mission locations when needed

Schedule Requirements (Important)

This role is being hired with a set schedule expectation, along with some flexibility to support the team across both studio locations when needed.

You must be available for all of the following shifts:

- Monday to Friday (Kensington): 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM

Please note: availability for all five shifts is required for this position.

Compensation

- Starting at $17/hour
- Commission opportunities
