Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and packages across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, shipment documentation, and delivery records to ensure transparency and accountability
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly




- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or other machinery required for loading or unloading freight safely and efficiently
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition

Skills

- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license suitable for operating large vehicles or trucks
- Certification or experience in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures, safety protocols, and transportation regulations
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshoot vehicle issues confidently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers in a professional manner
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects, operate machinery, and perform tasks that require stamina and agility
