Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of freightliners, compressors, loaders, as well as the ability to assemble and disassemble equipment effectively . Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability, supporting our commitment to operational excellence.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
- Repairing damaged equipment parts. Cleaning, lubricating, and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and make sure that it is in proper working condition.
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safely regulations.

Requirements





- Journeyman Certificate Required
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and industrial equipment maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
- Experience working with various fleet vehicles.
- Strong problem - solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced workplace.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Good communication skills.
