We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant General Manager to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk management, guest services, and staff supervision
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of hospitality and professionalism
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Support budgeting processes, monitor expenses, and help control operational costs effectively
- Coordinate human resources activities such as staffing schedules, training programs, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to phone etiquette standards and maintain effective communication with guests and staff alike
- Supervise front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and handling reservations with efficiency and warmth
Experience
- Marriott background is a must
- Proven supervising experience in a hospitality or hotel workplace with a focus on guest services
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Previous hotel experience is preferred, especially in roles involving front desk management or guest relations
- Knowledge of budgeting principles and human resources practices within the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with phone etiquette standards and delivering exceptional guest interactions
- Experience in managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
