At Fundamental First Aid, we believe first aid education should be effective, engaging, and empowering. As a premier training provider in the Lower Mainland, we offer WorkSafeBC and Canadian Red Cross–certified courses in Vancouver and Surrey, as well as on-site training for private grous. Helping people gain skills that truly save lives. We’re seeking charismatic, enthusiastic, and experienced First Aid Instructors to join the Fundamental First Aid team in both full-time and part time roles at our New Burnaby location, as well as our other two locations in Vancouver and Surrey.

The ideal instructor is passionate about first aid, excels at engaging and motivating students, and brings strong experience teaching first aid courses. Candidates must be certified to teach both WorkSafeBC and Canadian Red Cross programs and be excited to grow their career with us as we invest in ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities:

· Teach Red Cross and WorkSafeBC first aid courses, including on-site private courses as needed.

· Represent Fundamental First Aid by providing an exceptional, best-in-class experience for all students.





· Maintain all administrative tasks efficiently and be fully prepared for each class.

· Create a fun, engaging, and interactive classroom environment that promotes learning for all students.

· Keep the classroom organized and supplies well-maintained.

· Support the leadership team with administrative tasks as required.

· Incorporate real-life experience and examples to enhance student engagement.

· Maintain a 5-star Google review rating for all classes taught.

Requirements:

· 2+ years experience teaching first aid mandatory

· Have a current WorksafeBC Instructor and or Red Cross certification

· Experience teaching OFA- Advanced first aid a bonus, but not necassary

· Fluent understanding of English both written and oral

· Fluency in other languages a benefit

· Passionate about first aid and teaching others life saving skills

· Must be physically capable of performing all first aid tasks

· Willingness to travel within lower mainland to onsite private courses.
