Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through comprehensive evaluations, including medical history and functional assessments
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals
- Implement evidence-based physiotherapy techniques to promote healing and restore mobility
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, therapeutic exercises, and self-care practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, progress notes, and clinical records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Requirements
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the CPTA
- Proven hospital experience with exposure to acute care environments
- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior experience in clinical settings is a plus but not mandatory
