LIFTRUCK OPERATOR:

Qualifications: Secondary school Diploma

Valid Drivers License

Lift Truck Experience

Bay Growers Lift truck Certification

Communicate effectively with Management and Staff

Reports to: Production Supervisor and/or Plant Manager

Duties:

-Follow GMP, Food Safety and Health and Safety requirements.

- unload trucks of supplies and apples

-load apples into storage rooms

-delivering raw and sorted product to plant as time permits

-Load empties onto pre-sort.

-Bundle bins as required and take to Bin yard.

-Remove pack line empties if needed

-Take flumed fruit back into storage rooms and record

-Squeegee floor as require, during shift.

-Fill staplers at hydro-fillers when required.

-Empty rot bins as required.





-Bring part skids of packed product to skidders in a.m.

-Assist shipper as time permits – loading trucks

-wrapping product and bring skids to cold room

-Other duties as required, within capabilities.

-Assist in maintaining a clean work environment.

-Participate in all required Bay growers’ training.

WEEKEND WORK MAYBE REQUIRED

OVERTIME WORK MAYBE REQUIRED

Workplace: Works in an uncontrolled temperature environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
