· Job Type: 1 Full-Time position available

· Job Location: West Vancouver

· Start Date: As soon as possible

· Availability required: Preference will be given to candidates with open availability, including both weekend days

Cutie Pie Wax Bar is a growing, locally owned beauty business with three busy locations across the North Shore and beyond. Our West Vancouver salon needs a Team Lead who can own the client experience and keep a talented service team running at its best — without drowning in admin.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Be the face of the salon, welcome clients, set the note, and make sure every visit ends with a rebooking
- Lead the front-of-house: bookings, check-ins, and day to day flow using our salon software (Zenoti)
- Coach and support the service team with regular, constructive feedback
- Handle client concerns and complaints with grace, tact, and ownership. You turn a bad moment into a loyal client
- Keep the team culture positive, professional, and drama-free
- Keep the details tight: retail displays, salon presentation, opening/closing standards

- You’ve led people in a quick-paced, customer-facing environment. Whether that was a busy cafe or restaurant, a retail floor, a salon, or a wellness studio — relevant leadership experience counts,



whatever the industry.

- Confident giving feedback and having performance conversations, and does it in a way that helps people improve
- Reads people well and adapts your approach — you know that different team members need different kinds of support to do their best work
- Possesses strategic problem-solving abilities to address issues effectively, stays calm under pressure and can de-escalate situations
- Keeps the peace, shut down gossip and drama early, kindly, and firmly
- Learns fast and sweats the details
- Ability to lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to create a positive team environment, fostering open communication and encouraging growth and development
- Takes pride in your appearance and represents the brand
- Is comfortable with technology — experience with Zenoti or another booking/scheduling platform is an asset, but what matters most is that you pick up new tools quickly
- Reliability is a non-negotiable trait
