Nor-Tech Machining & Rebuilding Inc. is a small size machine shop which opened its doors 20 years ago, providing quality design and build services using several Traditional and CNC machines and CAD . We also manufacuture to customers prints and specifications . Our shop produces single pieces , small and large runs and can provide service for maintenance support .
We are looking experienced CNC Machinist or a person who is willing to learn in a busy Machine shop ,must be able to work on manual and CNC machines as well. Candidate will be running a variety of CNC lathe, milling , manual lathe, milling , grinding.
Must be able to do your own setups , loading program into machine, touching off tools etc.
Requirements:
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments,
such as Micrometers, Verniers, Bore Gauges, , Meters, Dial Indicators.
- Able to run all machinery in the shop, finish the parts from the beginning to ends .
- Able to reading technical drawings then programing the machine as needed
- CNC machining experience an asset
- Knowledge of basic CAD program ( Fusion 360 )
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday ( Saturday as needed )
- Overtime
