Early Childhood Educator/ Infant Toddler Educator – Bloom & Play Kelowna

About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator or Infant/Toddler Specialist at Bloom & Play, you’ll help foster a classroom culture that celebrates connection, respect, and wonder. You’ll nurture each child’s growth with kindness, patience, and courage, while supporting their curiosity and independence. You’ll work closely with families and colleagues to create a collaborative, joyful, and values-driven environment where everyone feels seen, supported, and inspired.

Your Responsibilities

- Work closely with your colleagues to plan and lead experiences that spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and support each child’s growth.
- Foster a warm, inclusive, and respectful classroom, where children feel safe, valued, and supported to take healthy risks and express themselves.
- Observe, reflect, and respond to each child’s unique strengths, interests, and developmental needs, tailoring experiences to nurture their confidence and independence.
- Engage openly and positively with families, building strong partnerships and sharing moments of learning, joy, and progress.
- Create a safe, organized,



and welcoming setting that invites discovery and investigation, encourages connection, and supports a love of learning both indoors and outdoors.
- Help grow Bloom & Play’s culture, programs, and community through your creativity, values, and initiative.

What You Need

- BC ECE and/or Infant Toddler License to Practice
- First Aid/CPR Level B (children and infants) & Food Safe Level 1
- Clear Criminal Record Check (submitted by Bloom & Play)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills
- A passion for guiding children’s learning and character development
- Experience in play-based and/or nature-inspired programs is an asset, but new educators with dedication and a heart for children are welcome

Position Details

Full-Time | In-Person Starting Wage $28–$31/hr (Including WE). We have a structured earning pathway in place that supports wage increases based on performance, leadership, initiative, and professional development. Up to 40 hours per week. Comprehensive benefits package
