We are looking for a mature individual who would like to support the Kanata Montessori Main Campus after school programs and/or extracurricular programs (led by trained instructors), 3:15-4:45, Monday through Friday.

We are looking for mature candidates who can commit to their role for the duration of the 2024-25 academic school year.

The After School Assistant role could include:

- Gathering students (from roster) from their school classrooms and bringing students to the classroom/gym where an external provider will be ready to teach a specialty program.
- Recording attendance (in/out times).
- Setting behavioural expectations, if necessary.
- Assisting with supervision of students during program.
- Overseeing student cleanup at departure.
- Confirming authorized pickups at the end of the program.
- Supervising After Care students during play.
- Other potential tasks as necessary

Hired candidates may need to provide the following for employment:

- Police Vulnerable Sector Check




- Immunization record (Tdap, MMR & varicella)
- Health Assessment
- Standard First Aid & CPR

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$19.49 per hour
