Landscaping Team Lead

Pay: $30.00 per hour
Position: Full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Landscaping Team Lead to supervise a crew and help transform and restore residential and commercial properties.

The ideal candidate has strong practical landscaping knowledge, can confidently direct a crew, and takes pride in completing high-quality work. You will organize daily tasks, work alongside the team, monitor quality and safety, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the client’s satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise a landscaping crew while working alongside team members
- Assign daily tasks and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently
- Oversee property cleanups, landscape restoration, planting, turf installation, pruning, soil preparation, and general maintenance
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations
- Train team members in proper landscaping techniques and safe equipment operation
- Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, and management
- Keep tools, vehicles, and equipment organized and in good working condition
- Help determine the labour, materials, equipment, and time required for projects

Qualifications

- Previous experience leading a landscaping, maintenance, or construction crew
- Strong knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, plant care, and property maintenance
- Experience with planting, pruning, turf, irrigation, soil preparation, and weed control




- Ability to operate landscaping tools, equipment, and machinery safely
- Strong leadership, organization, and problem-solving abilities
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work with limited supervision
- Comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work in changing weather conditions
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation preferred

Compensation and Incentives

- Starting wage of $30.00 per hour
- Performance-based incentives for maintaining properties to a high standard
