What You'll Be Doing

- Design, develop and maintain applications for Embedded Linux-based devices.
- Develop production-quality software using C++, Go and other appropriate technologies.
- Develop graphical user interfaces using Qt and related frameworks.
- Integrate applications with embedded hardware, peripherals and communication systems.
- Develop and troubleshoot network-connected applications using technologies such as:
- TCP/IP
- UDP
- Ethernet
- TLS

- Interface software with embedded hardware and communication interfaces.
- Troubleshoot software, networking and hardware-integration issues.
- Collaborate with Embedded Linux, electrical and other engineering team members throughout product development.
- Participate in software architecture discussions, technical design reviews and peer code reviews.
- Write clean, modular, reusable, testable and maintainable code.
- Create and maintain software design and technical documentation.
- Support product validation, debugging and release activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement of development practices and product quality.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 3–5 years of professional embedded software development experience.
- Strong professional experience with C++.
- Experience developing software using Go.
- Experience developing applications using Qt.
- Hands-on experience developing software for Embedded Linux devices.




- Experience troubleshooting embedded software and hardware-integration problems.
- Experience interfacing software with embedded hardware and peripherals.
- Experience using Git and team-oriented software-development practices.
- Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned development tasks while knowing when to seek guidance on larger architectural decisions.

The Ideal Candidate

You enjoy developing software that interacts with real-world hardware and want to understand how the entire product works rather than being limited to one isolated piece of code.

You are comfortable debugging across software, Linux, networking and hardware boundaries, and you approach unfamiliar technical problems systematically. You can independently deliver assigned development work while collaborating with senior engineers when architectural or system-level decisions are required.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
