Duties

- Administer vaccines accurately and safely following established protocols and medical guidelines
- Prepare and organize vaccination stations, ensuring all supplies and documentation are ready for each session
- Educate patients about vaccine benefits, potential side effects, and post-vaccination care instructions
- Maintain detailed records of administered vaccines using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner
- Monitor patients post-vaccination for adverse reactions and provide immediate assistance if needed
- Assist with patient intake, including verifying medical histories and answering questions about the vaccination process
- Support the coordination of vaccination clinics,



including scheduling appointments and managing inventory

Requirements

- Valid nursing license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in hospital or acute care settings, with familiarity in pediatric, senior, or dementia care preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and phlebotomy procedures
- Experience working with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner is highly desirable
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse populations, including children and seniors
- Background in laboratory procedures or laboratory experience is an advantage
- Ability to work efficiently in rapid-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
