Job Summary

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Welders Helper! In this energetic role, you will support skilled welders by preparing materials, handling tools, and assisting with welding operations to ensure efficient and safe production. Duties

- Assist welders with setting up equipment, including rigging and positioning materials for welding tasks
- Handle hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment such as press brake machines and plasma cutters to prepare components for welding
- Support welding operations by holding or moving parts during MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding processes under supervision
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including handling ductwork, assemblies, and other fabrication materials
- Use calipers and basic math skills to measure parts accurately for proper fit-up




- Assist with the operation of forklifts and cranes for material handling and rigging purposes

Experience

- Previous construction or manufacturing experience is highly preferred, especially in roles involving assembly or mechanical work
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques (MIG/TIG), plasma cutting, and press brake machines is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, ductwork fabrication, or machining processes will be advantageous
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely; certification is a bonus but not required initially
- Basic understanding of schematics, assembly instructions, and safety protocols in a manufacturing workplace

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
