Position: Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer

Mode of Work: Hybrid (3 days a week)

We are looking to hire a Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Salesforce platform automation, CI/CD, and contemporary DevOps practices.

Summary

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Salesforce platform development, CI/CD automation, and release management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Salesforce DevOps tools, environment strategy, metadata management, and Agile delivery, along with the ability to enable scalable and reliable deployment processes across Salesforce ecosystems.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Implement and manage Salesforce DevOps best practices, including version control, branching strategies, and automated deployments.
- Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, and business stakeholders to streamline development and release processes.
- Manage Salesforce environments (sandboxes, scratch orgs) and govern release cycles including code promotion and rollback strategies.
- Automate metadata deployment, testing, and validation processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX) and related tools.




- Ensure secure and compliant deployments, including integration with identity, access control, and governance frameworks.
- Drive DevOps maturity within Salesforce landscape, including monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Support integrations and deployments involving Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom Lightning components.
- Work in Agile teams to ensure continuous improvement and efficient delivery practices.

Qualifications & Skills

- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with strong focus on Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Flosum, or similar).
- Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata API, and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
- Experience working with Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience Cloud) and Lightning framework.
- Good knowledge of scripting/programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar) for automation tasks.
- Familiarity with containerization and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, release management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
