Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Barista to join our team within a fast-paced 24-hour healthcare Centre environment. This location serves patients, visitors, and healthcare staff around the clock, requiring flexibility, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer care. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting and is passionate about delivering excellent service. Please note, the selected candidates are required to work certain overnight shifts as business requires.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with consistency and quality
- Provide courteous, respectful service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff
- Operate POS systems (Micros POS or similar) to process orders accurately
- Handle cash and electronic transactions responsibly
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized workspace in accordance with healthcare standards
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist customers with menu selections and product inquiries
- Restock supplies and maintain smooth operations across all shifts
- Work effectively in a 24-hour environment, including overnight shifts




- Create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all guests

Qualifications

- Previous barista or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a skilled and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work flexible shifts (days, evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays)
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Experience with POS systems (Micros POS is an asset)
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong multitasking and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
