About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, customer-focused Part-Time Cheese Shop Assistant to join our team. You’ll assist customers behind the counter, wrap items, and run the cash register.

No prior cheese knowledge is required—just bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers, offer helpful service, and process cash/card transactions accurately.
- Slice, weigh, and wrap cheeses and specialty products to order.
- Keep display cases, shelves, and counter areas clean, stocked, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

- Friendly, approachable attitude with robust communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn about artisanal cheeses and gourmet foods.
- Background in restaurant, café, or customer service preferred.
- Punctual, reliable, and comfortable standing for shifts and handling light lifting.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
