Role: Training Specialist
Location: McArthur River Saskatoon, SK
Duration: 08/19/2026 - 12/31/2026
Work Rotation: 2 weeks/on 2 weeks/out 11 hours per day

Role Description / Key Responsibilities

- Reporting to the Training Co-ordinator, this role is responsible for organizing and delivering safety training courses.
- Provide support for the site and ensure compliance to all regulatory and positional requirements.
- Create, analyse, and evaluate training courses while continually improving and looking for opportunities to gain efficiencies in the training program, focussing on creating on-line formats.
- Optimize training material where possible to ensure all training needs are met in the most effective manner.
- Present content in both online and in-person formats.
- Ensure position curricula is current and kept updated as per regulatory, corporate or site requirements.
- Organize training sessions including setting up meetings, creating session and identify qualified instructions to assist with non-routing training.
- Run deficiency and training reports to ensure training evaluations, forms, training hours, training materials are complete, up-to date and accurate.




- Be familiar with the systematic approach to training (SAT) process and have direct experience within a previous training capacity.
- Work competently in MS Teams, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Be a collaborative team player who is effective at building excellent relationships.

Skills / Previous Experience

- Experience with offering training online and in person.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proven problem solving abilities.
- Adaptable and Flexible.
- Experience using the ADDIE (Analysis Development Design Implement Evaluate) training model.
- Certificate in Adult Education or Train the Trainer certification.

Must Have

- Cameco Experience.
- Advanced Computer Skills.
- Pre-access substance testing.
- WHMIS.

Pre-Access Training / Qualification Activities

To be assigned and completed in ISN prior to start:

- Location Specific Site Orientation.
- Surface – Pre Access OR Underground Pre Access (this includes completion of a substance test)

Pay: $60.00-$90.00 per hour
