About the Role

We are looking for motivated and physically fit Diamond Driller’s Assistants to join our field operations. You’ll be working in remote - outdoor environments, handling equipment, and playing a critical role in extracting core samples and making sure the drill runs efficiently.

We are currently hiring for multiple positions and are looking for both entry-level candidates ready to start their career and experienced helpers looking for a new challenge. Our main location is in Winnipeg, MB with drills all over Canada.

Key Responsibilities

- Core Handling: Assist the Driller in removing core samples from the barrel, placing them in core boxes, and ensuring they are labeled accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Help with the setup, tear-down, and movement of drill rigs and support equipment.
- Mixing Fluids: Mix drilling mud and additives as required by the ground conditions.
- Rig Support: Handle heavy drill rods, casing, and various hand tools; ensure the drill site is clean, organized, and safe.
- Safety First: Strictly follow all onsite safety protocols and participate in daily toolbox meetings.

What You Bring to the Team

- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work on your feet for long shifts in varying weather conditions.



(12hr /day shifts)
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfort working with machinery and hand tools is a major asset.
- Communication: Clear, direct communication skills and the ability to follow technical instructions.
- Certifications: A valid Driver’s License, First Aid, WHMIS and a clean abstract are required.

Work Conditions

- Schedule: We usually operate on a 4 weeks on / 2 weeks off schedule.
- Location: Remote field sites; camp accommodations and travel are usually provided.
- Environment: Outdoors in all seasons (rain, snow, or heat).
