Duties

- Deliver professional hair styling services including cuts, color treatments, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client preferences and recommend suitable styles and hair care products
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe environment
- Engage with clients in a friendly, energetic manner to foster loyalty and enhance their overall experience
- Upsell retail products by educating clients on hair care solutions that meet their needs, boosting sales opportunities




- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, answering client inquiries, and processing transactions efficiently
- Keep detailed records of services performed and products used for each client to ensure continuity and personalized care

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse techniques and styles
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and actively listen to client needs
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon workplace
- Ability to upsell products naturally by educating clients on benefits tailored to their hair type and concerns
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and engage clients confidently
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- A positive attitude, energetic approach, and passion for helping clients look their best are essential for success in this role

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
