Duties
- Perform data entry for various accounting transactions using multiple accounting software platforms such as Wave, ABM Books Etc.
- Assist in managing accounts payable by processing invoices and verifying payment details accurately.
- Assist in managing accounts receivable functions by creating invoices for customer, recording payments and reconciling customer accounts.
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure consistency across financial records and identify discrepancies promptly.
- Aid in payroll processing tasks using systems like Wave and ABM Books to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
- Help with bookkeeping activities including ledger maintenance, expense tracking, and financial data organization.
- Collaborate on account analysis and budgeting activities to support financial planning efforts.
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Experience with payroll systems like Wave or Quick books or ABM books is a plus.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of account reconciliation and account analysis techniques.
- Strong math skills to support budgeting and financial calculations.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different accounting tools such as Workday or UltiPro.
- Effective communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential.
