Animal Care Attendant Location: Eastern Passage, NS Position Type: Part-time Eastern Passage Village Veterinary Hospital is currently welcoming for a dependable and responsible Animal Care Attendant to join our team! This part-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities which directly attributes to the effective and effective care of the Seaside Kennel cats while they board with us. Caring for our boarded cats; feeding, and offering a gentle voice of assurance

Administer medications or supplements, insulin as needed

Ensure animal housing or enclosure is clean, sanitary and comfortable

Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for boarding cats

General housekeeping duties

Compassion and nurturing attitude

Good attention to detail and ability to read instructions from medical intake form

Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and maintain a high quality of care

Ability to adapt in changing situations Schedule: This position consists of weekend and holiday coverage only.





Morning shift is from 7:30 am to 9 am, and the evening shift is from 7 pm - 8:30 pm.
