We are a family of 4, with busy lives and two working parents. Our 9 year old daughter finishes school at 2:45pm and needs someone to pick her up and stay with her for homework, games, crafts and a snack until 500pm twice a week. Our son is 4yo and will be be starting JK in the fall, at the same school as my daughter, but finishing around 2:30pm.
We need can help with pick ups of both kids twice a week, especially Tuesdays, and one other day of the week (maybe more), plus about 3 hours of care on those days (playing afterschool, play and homework at home, library trips etc.). Both kids are in French immersion. Our heritage languages are Panjabi and Czech, with some German, but we mostly speak English.
Knowing any one of our heritage languages would be an asset, but not necessary. Same goes for French. If you have French, outstanding; if not, no worries. Exposure to any other language is beautiful, too.
