Duties

Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements.

Support the preparation of construction sites by measuring, marking, and setting out materials using hand tools and power tools.

Participate in concrete forming activities, including setting forms, pouring concrete, and finishing surfaces with precision.

Help with siding installation, framing, and other carpentry tasks under supervision to ensure quality workmanship.

Operate heavy equipment and tools safely for tasks such as lifting heavy materials or performing demolition work.

Contribute to restoration projects by repairing or refurbishing existing structures with attention to detail.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Experience





Previous construction experience is a plus but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.

Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and woodworking techniques is advantageous.

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.

Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Interest in developing skills such as concrete finishing, welding, or heavy equipment operation through on-the-job training.

Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and craftsmanship.

Prior exposure to restoration work or siding installation is beneficial but not mandatory.
