Shuttle driving will be a big part of this job, and this is an entry level position for training to become a Service Advisor.
- Greet customers warmly and professionally, establishing a positive rapport from the moment they arrive.
- Prepare vehicles coming into the service department for maintenance or repairs.
- Park vehicles waiting to go into the shop.
- Drive customers to destinations within the city limits.
- Visit Service Ontario to register new and used vehicles.
- Learn the operating requirements of our DMS system for scheduling service, status of repairs, status of ordered parts.
- Occasionally handle cash transactions accurately and process payments securely.
- Promote additional services such as vehicle inspections or preventive maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Assist service advisors and management with tasks.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business by delivering outstanding customer service at every touchpoint.
- Experience as a Service Advisor or in auto service management within a dealership environment is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of the city streets and routes.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping.
- Applicant will be subject to background checks.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused attitude; able to explain technical information clearly.
- Candidate will be required to park vehicles, and walk the 50+ meters many times a day.
- Light lifting, but the job is physical.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; dealership experience is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; ability to handle cash transactions responsibly.
