Cowichan Valley Volkswagen, the Cowichan Valley’s newest automotive dealership, is looking for a Red Seal Automotive Technician to join our growing team.
Proudly brought to the Cowichan Valley by the Harbourview Autohaus family in Nanaimo, our family-owned and operated business brings more than 40 years of experience, trust, quality workmanship, and customer care to our newest Volkswagen location.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new dealership from the beginning and help build a strong service team and culture in the Cowichan Valley. Job Duties:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs to manufacturers' specifications as assigned.
- Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Work effectively with the service team.
What We Look For:
- Valid Automotive Service Technician License (Red Seal Certification).
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience with the Volkswagen or German brands would be an asset but not required.
- Strong aptitude for technical/mechanical repairs.
- Solid understanding of electronics and computers
- Motivated, hardworking, and a team player.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: $38.00 - $45.00 per hour
Additional pay
- Bonus Pay, up to $1,000.00 monthly for efficiency.

- reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

- Class 5 Licence (required)
