The Role

As a member of our National Sales team within Investment Solutions at IGM, you will lead a highly collaborative, advisor-focused sales organization that helps drive sustainable growth in IG Wealth Management’s investment solutions across Canada. The AVP, National Sales provides strategic leadership to District Vice Presidents (Wholesalers), aligns national sales execution to corporate priorities, and partners across the enterprise to strengthen advisor engagement, product adoption, and IG’s competitive position in the wealth management industry. This role is accountable for translating national strategy into disciplined sales execution, coaching high-performing sales leaders, using data and insights to identify growth opportunities, and collaborating with Marketing, Investment Solutions, Distribution leadership, IGU and Business Development partners on campaigns and national initiatives that support advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute national sales strategies that build advisor confidence and support conversion into IG solutions across core and recent supporter classifications.

Lead, coach and develop District Vice Presidents on advanced territory management, advisor segmentation, engagement models, product expertise and conceptual selling.





Use data analytics and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities, monitor sales effectiveness, and optimize resource allocation nationally.

Champion innovation in sales processes, enablement practices and digital tools to enhance advisor productivity and strengthen the national sales operating model.

Partner with Marketing, Investment Solutions and Distribution leadership to deliver integrated campaigns that drive advisor engagement, client acquisition and measurable business outcomes.

Oversee campaign readiness and execution, ensuring consistent messaging, clear accountability and strong alignment across national and regional teams.

Support advisor recruitment, retention and business development initiatives in collaboration with the Business Development team and other enterprise partners.

Act as a key liaison between National Sales and other divisions to foster collaboration, vertical and horizontal alignment, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications University degree or equivalent industry experience.

10+ years of experience in wealth management, asset management, investment solutions, sales leadership or related financial services discipline.

CSC and CIM designations.

Detailed understanding of the Advice business, including the manufacturing and distribution of investment products.

Proven leadership capability with demonstrated results leading senior sales teams in a retail distribution environment.

Strong business judgment, communication skills, relationship management skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholder groups.

Ability to travel frequently across Canada to support national sales leadership, advisor engagement and business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications MBA and/or equivalent senior industry experience.

CFA, CAIA or strong investment management expertise.

Extensive knowledge of the wealth and asset management business with a strong understanding of advisor needs and distribution dynamics.

Experience designing coaching frameworks, education programs, thought leadership initiatives or national sales enablement programs.

Knowledge of French and English is required to support clients and team members within and/or outside the province of Quebec. For roles posted in Montréal,
