Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Handle POS (Point of Sale) transactions using Micros POS systems accurately and efficiently
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests
- Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and balancing registers at shift end
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including food prep stations and dining spaces
- Support daily operations by serving customers promptly,
managing time effectively, and working collaboratively with team members
Experience
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic math for cash transactions
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in serving or food industry roles that demonstrate reliability and teamwork
- Basic understanding of time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
