Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process orders efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations during transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures
- Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about ingredients or allergens, and provide excellent customer service
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light menu items as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without sacrificing quality or accuracy
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash register technology
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
