theVenti is a popular Korean coffee and beverage brand offering a wide variety of Korean-inspired and specialty drinks. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic team member who enjoys working with people and thrives in a rapid-paced café environment.

As a Barista, you will prepare a variety of Korean-style and specialty beverages, including coffee, lattes, teas, smoothies, fruit drinks, sparkling beverages, and seasonal menu items according to theVenti's recipes and quality standards.

Previous barista experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is dependable, motivated, quick to learn, and enthusiastic about providing great customer service.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee, lattes, teas, smoothies, fruit beverages, sparkling drinks, and Korean-inspired specialty beverages
- Follow theVenti recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality standards consistently
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and efficient customer service
- Take customer orders and accurately operate the POS system
- Handle cash and card transactions responsibly
- Prepare ingredients and complete daily prep tasks
- Restock cups, ingredients, and other supplies throughout the shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
- Complete opening and/or closing duties as scheduled
- Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining drink quality and accuracy




- Communicate and work cooperatively with other team members

Qualifications
- Previous barista or café experience is preferred but not required
- Restaurant, food-service, retail, or customer-service experience is an asset
- Interest in Korean café culture, beverages, and food trends is an asset
- Korean and/or Chinese language skills are an asset, but not required
- Friendly, positive, and skilled attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Able to learn recipes and procedures quickly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable performing cleaning, preparation, and general café duties
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Schedule & Availability This is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week.

Candidates should have flexible availability. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and availability for both opening and closing shifts is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $18.25 per hour

Expected hours: Approximately 40 per week
