About Us Dear Grain Toronto is an Everything Sourdough Bakery that specializes in artisanal products - sourdough bread, pastries & sandwiches. We aim to inspire, nourish and fulfill our team and the community we serve.

We offer a respectful open work environment, friendly work culture, and a chance to learn, be playful and creative Responsibilities Prepare and assemble sandwiches and pizza according to menu specifications Proof and bake sourdough croissants using recipe instructions. Bake cookies, scones, brownies etc. Glazing and garnishing baked goods, using recipe instructions. Slice, chop, and prepare ingredients for menu items Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies Prepare Daily Specials Practice food safety and sanitation standards Reports to Kitchen Leader Qualifications &

Skills Previous experience in food preparation or sandwich making is preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes Minimum of 1 year of continuous employment in a high volume production kitchen/food business Minimum 1 year experience in Culinary education in a recognized College/University Possess basic cooking and knife handling skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken Pay & Schedule Pay: $18.00 to $19 per hour Full Time role Schedule: 5 days a week Monday–Sunday Week Shift: 7:00AM to 3:00PM (During week days) & 6:30AM to 2:30PM (During week end) Location: Dear Grain Summerhill Who You Are A people person who has a passion for bread, pastry, making pizza dough and preparing sandwiches. Direct and honest communicator; team player A self motivator with excellent time management Reliable and punctual. A positive ambassador with robust communication skills and a genuine kindness, thoughtfulness and passion for good food! Food Handler’s/WHIMIS Certification an asset.
