Casa Donato is a new hospitality destination coming to Toronto, created by experienced Montreal restaurateurs. Bringing together a restaurant, bar, and café under one roof, Casa Donato is built around quality, hospitality, and a robust sense of community.

As we prepare for the opening of our café, we are looking for energetic and reliable Café Team Members to join our opening team.

THE ROLE

Our Café Team Members are cross-trained to work across all areas of the café.

Rather than having separate positions for coffee, smoothies, food preparation, and service, our team members will be trained to handle the complete café experience.

Depending on the shift and business needs, you may be preparing espresso-based drinks, making smoothies, assembling sandwiches and other food items, taking orders, serving guests, restocking, or helping maintain the café.

We’re looking for people who enjoy variety, work well as part of a team, and are comfortable moving between different responsibilities throughout their shift.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Prepare espresso-based coffee and other hot and cold beverages
- Prepare smoothies and specialty drinks
- Assemble sandwiches and other café food items
- Follow recipes, portioning, and presentation standards
- Take customer orders and process payments
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Maintain product quality and consistency
- Complete food and beverage preparation before and during service
- Restock ingredients, packaging,



and supplies
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Work collaboratively with the entire café team
- Be flexible and comfortable working across all café stations

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Previous café, restaurant, quick-service, or food preparation experience is an asset
- Barista experience is a strong asset, but not required
- Comfortable preparing both food and beverages
- Friendly and guest-focused
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Willing to learn and be trained across all café stations
- Positive attitude and strong team mentality
- Available for a flexible schedule, including mornings and weekends
