Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Process cash, credit card, and digital payments efficiently while handling cash with precision
- Assist in food preparation and food handling to ensure quality standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food service areas,
adhering to food safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly and efficiently
Skills
- Prior food service experience with a strong understanding of restaurant operations
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety protocols in the food industry
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Strong cash handling abilities with basic math skills for accurate transactions
- Effective time management to balance multiple tables or orders simultaneously
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with food industry standards is a plus for better teamwork and efficiency
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
