In this part-time role, you will integrate various assessments to evaluate clients’ driving abilities following changes in their health status.
Working one day a week, you'll be an essential part of a dedicated team providing rehabilitation support. You will conduct driving assessments, create tailored rehabilitation programs, and collaborate closely with driving instructors and interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-clinic and on-road driving assessments
- Provide vehicle access assessments for mobility aid users
- Establish client goals and resources for support
- Plan client-centered driver rehabilitation programs
- Complete detailed assessment and vehicle prescription reports Requirements:
- Membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Preferred experience in acute or community rehabilitation
- Reliable and adaptable work ethic
- Strong communication and organizational skills
