Privately owned endodontic specialty practice in Riverside/Corktown area seeking an experienced Certified Level II Dental Assistant to work chairside with our endodontist.

We are a small-volume, high-quality practice committed to clinical excellence, exceptional patient care and a warm, professional workplace. The ideal candidate is reliable, confident working independently, highly organized and attentive to detail, with the ability to anticipate the endodontist’s needs while providing a calm and welcoming patient experience.

Schedule

No weekends

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (9-7 pm or close)

Tuesday & Friday (optional)

Start Date: Sept 1 st or similar

Compensation

$30-38/hr based on experience, endodontic background, and certifications

Requirements

- Certified Level II Dental Assistant
- Live within an reliable commute distance
- 3-5 + years of dental assisting experience with references from dentist (required)
- Strong knowledge of endodontic procedures, instruments and materials
- Follows strictly best practice IPAC, sterilization and infection-control guidelines
- Current CPR, WHMIS, HARP and required certifications
- Confident with dental radiography, including PAN and CBCT positioning
- Strong dental software and computer skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Warm and personable with patients
- Able to anticipate the endodontist’s needs and work without constant direction





Key Responsibilities
- Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance for endodontic procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments and equipment
- Anticipate and support the endodontist throughout treatment
- Position patients for PAN/CBCT, process imaging and send scans to referring offices
- Confidently transcribe patient notes and clinical findings
- Prepare and send post-operative letters and correspondence
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Maintain a clean, organized and tidy clinical environment
- Follow IPAC, sterilization and infection-control protocols
- Maintain and update sterilization logs and SDS records
- Maintain, monitor and order clinical inventory and supplies
- Monitor equipment and communicate maintenance or supply needs
- Communicate professionally with patients and referring offices
- Provide clear pre- and post-operative patient instructions
- Manage clinical emails and electronic correspondence
- Assist with administrative duties when the clinical schedule is light
