Role Description The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for defining and executing the technology vision across Praesidium’s multi-venture portfolio. The CTO will oversee software and product development, technology architecture, and IT strategy to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for each venture.

Day-to-day responsibilities include leading engineering teams, prioritizing and managing technology roadmaps, aligning product and platform capabilities with business objectives, and establishing best practices for development,



deployment, and security. The CTO will work closely with executive leadership, product, and operations to evaluate emerging technologies, guide build-versus-buy decisions, and support category creation and first-mover initiatives. Additionally, the CTO will be responsible for resource planning, vendor and partner management, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement of the technology organization.

Qualifications

- Strong background in Software Development, with hands-on experience leading engineering teams and delivering scalable platforms.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including roadmap planning, cross-functional coordination, and delivery within time and budget constraints.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT Strategy and Technology Architecture, focusing on security, scalability, reliability, and integration across multiple ventures.
- Experience in Product Development, collaborating with product, design, and business stakeholders to create technology-driven products and features.
- Proven leadership in a CTO or senior technology executive role within high-growth, innovation-driven organizations or startups.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, data security, privacy, and modern development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps).
- Robust analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a remote, global, and fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
